In recognition of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), FOSE will work to incorporate these goals in its objectives. SDGs officially known as transforming our world: the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is a set of 17 "Global Goals" with 169 targets between them.

6. Sustainable development

Strategy

To facilitate capacity building of civil society organizations on economic and business analysis and policy influencing.
To produce and make use of electronic and print media and air radio and television programmes on business and economy.
To promote best practices in business development and management.
To influence higher learning institutions to design and carter for demand driven and market responsive economic and business curricula.
To promote entrepreneurship skills.
To promote economic, business and social organization for poverty reduction.
To publish journals, articles, periodicals, booklets and related educational materials on business and economic issues.
To provide strategic support to entrepreneurs and young investors to participate in local and international trade fairs.
To organize and coordinate strategic educational aid and scholarships for the disadvantaged children and adults

Objectives

The objectives for which the Foundation is formed include the following:

To promote education for vulnerable youth and women by providing alternative solutions on social economic challenges that limit girl child to attain sustainable education.
To give assistance by way of material aid, educational facilities and instruction for the restoration, preservation, protection and promotion of the rights to education.
To support communities especially in rural areas to improve their insight, initiatives and participation in planning and promoting education in its diversity.
To promote entrepreneurship skills through facilitating capacity building for vulnerable youth, women and especially girl child in society on social economic challenges besetting the society.
To promote and safeguard motherhood, prevention of STD’s /AIDS/HIV, family planning, the girl child prone to domestic violence.
To initiate and support income generating activities in order to alleviate poverty in Tanzania.
